Building Permit & Development Fee Refund

Qualifying companies may receive a reimbursement of fees from the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors and/or the Industrial Development Authority.

Loans

Qualifying corporations may receive low interest loans from the Industrial Development Authority.

Property Tax Reimbursement

Qualifying corporations may receive a property tax reimbursement over a defined period of time from Tazewell County.

Rehabilitated Real Estate Tax Exemption (RRETE)

Qualifying corporations may receive a partial exemption from property taxation of the increase in assessed value of rehabilitated real estate.

Technology Zones

Local tax incentives for a qualifying company located within a Technology zone.

Tourism Zones

Local tax incentives for a qualifying tourism company located in a Tourism zone.

Other

Tazewell County and the Industrial Development Authority of Tazewell County reserve the right to negotiate other incentives based upon the needs of the company and the company’s ability to perform.
